These workshops conducted by Geeta Vaishnavi are an endeavor to engage and bring out creativity in children who are from low income families or belong to conflict zones to prevent radical and extremist behavior in them. Through these specially designed workshop she tries to understand human behavior, thinking, potential, and learning especially through the close observation of works of art and various forms of involvement in arts experiences.

Engaging with art is essential to the human experience. Almost as soon as motor skills are developed, children communicate through artistic expression. The arts challenge us with different points of view, compel us to empathize with “others,” and give us the opportunity to reflect on the human condition. Empirical evidence supports these claims: Among adults, arts participation is related to behaviors that contribute to the health of civil society, such as increased civic engagement and greater social tolerance. Yet, while we recognize art’s transformative impacts, its place in K-12 education has become increasingly tenuous.

A critical challenge for arts education has been a lack of empirical evidence that demonstrates its educational value. During course of each project we collect data to measure the impact of every creative intervention learning project.

"As an Artist and Educator I see a paradigm shift in the age old educational methods with the advancements and inclusion of robotics, Artificial Intelligence and technology. As we move towards the fourth industrial revolution creative thinking is going to be the fuel for this new economy.”
